A new poll of likely voters in the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District shows Democratic Incumbent John Tierney leading Republican Richard Tisei 39% to 32%. Libertarian Daniel Fishman garners 6% of voters. When "leaners" are included, this margin widens to 46% for Tierney, 34% for Tisei, and 7% for Fishman. The poll reveals warning signs for Tierney, including a 47% to 41% edge for Tisei among those who have heard at least a “fair amount” about the legal issues concerning Tierney’s in-laws.

The telephone poll included 401 likely voters in the 2012 General Election and was conducted September 8-10, 2012.
