Brown favorables (and unfavorables) are higher among registered voters than all adults

We produce a quarterly poll representative of the adult population in Massachusetts. As a part of the poll, we also ask about voter registration, which allows us to compare all of our figures, including the “fav/unfav” figures for registered voters vs the entire population. The chart below shows the comparison in favs and unfavs for Senator Brown. While both groups have shown a decline since our initial measurement in September 2010, both favorables and unfavorables are slightly higher among registered voters. This is not breaking news by any means, as registered voters tend to have more information on and thus more established views of political figures. But it is worth noting when comparing MPG figures with other polls that have reported on views of Senator Brown.
